I've decided I'd really like to have my 1960 Twintube Flightliner Chromed, frame, fork and chaingaurd, it's currenty red and very chippy paint. Who would you guys recommend that I could just send those parts to and have them blast or strip them and then chrome em? Not wanting to break the bank to do this though either, i've never priced anything like this so don't really know what to expect, not wanting to make it a show bike but just a real nice rider, if you guys know any ballpark pricing and a good chromer i'd be real appreciative, thanks.

I use Proctors up in Michigan. Chrome plating is very expensive no matter who does it. To do a frame, fork, and chainguard I'd say you're looking at $300-$500. You'd be better off finding another Flightliner with good chrome. You'd save money for sure. Gary

Thanks for the advise fellas, I actually contacted advanced plating a while back about a few old Schwinn stems and they quoted me 75 bucks per stem and 10 bucks per bolt head, figure a frame, fork and gaurd done by those guys would run me around 12 hundred. :D Well, I actually met a guy recently who does powder and he told me about the powder chome, I just like the solidness of chrome to resist chips, looks like it's back to the drawing board. :?
