I went from a 10 bay to a single bay, that makes me sad some days....

Oh wow a 10 bay is beyond my imagination. I think you did terrific downsizing to your single because your current garage is nice. All I have is a pair of single bay garages plus two small storage buildings, nothing special. Were just terrible about cluttering them up and being poorly organized. We've gotten rid of a lot of stuff in the past 15 years but more needs to go.

Thanks guys. Ya the wife is a keeper. She likes to make things with beads. I let her do her thing, and she lets me do mine. As long as the kids are set that is. We will see if anything changes next year, kid #3 arrives in January. So far though 13 great years being married, our oldest kid is 5, anyways back to bikes...

I have found that keeping a clean and tidy shop helps keep the girlfriend off my back. I thought our landlady might have an issue with me having upwards of 30 bikes in the basement. Her only comment was that I was very well organized!
