Winter Riding

I usually ride my junk mountain bike whenever it snows but I went to the gas station to get some beverages and I rode "Rollin' Rusty". Fun ride in the fresh falling snow! Next to the gas station there is a blacktop parking lot and with a little speed, hit the brake and the back wheel breaks loose. Long skids and drifting.

Just because its 20 degrees outside and snowing doesn't mean the biking fun is over!

Anyone else have fun when the snow falls?

Exactly, any day is a good bike day. Just have to have a different bike for each weather condition. :mrgreen:

Riding on the fresh snow is magical as you feel as if you are floating. And Icy ruts just sharpens your bike skills.

bikes are still fun in the snow, but iusually dont make it too far, plenty of smiles though trying to almost bust my butt, and smile even bigger when i do. and for the record just remember 2 things, snow is soft but ice hurts :lol:

The city of Grand Forks, ND plows the bike paths. I'm missing out on it this year as I live in Fl now.
