AWESOME! 8) How big is it & if you don't mind where did you find it??? Expensive???

Nothing there to indicate scale, but it would be pretty simple to make something similar out of thick solder.

Make it out of sterling silver wire and you'd really have something. Gary

Sure, but imagine making it out of solder then shooting a video as you point a torch at it and watch it melt.

...I found it posted on the HAMB website a couple of years ago, have no other info.

They have a store in my area called "Hobby Lobby" and it was not what I thought it was :( it was more of a decorator girlie store. Anyway I was already in the door and it was raining so I walked around for a few min and saw that they had motorcycles and cars made up like that. I did not see bicycles or I would have grabbed one. but that is the closest i can come to helping anyone out.

rusty1, just go Google bike-out-o-wire. I believe you can make your own of you have the time.

We have a hobby lobby here too. Great place to get fabric for seats, stuff for creating wood bike tanks. and they are the only place in town I know of that you can still buy model cars.

i made one outta one piece of wire, or a tricycle rather. ape hangers and all. coolest thing i have ever made. haha :D

leather, paint, all kinds of stuff; one of my favorite stores.

Just over 15 years ago... when I was in high school... I took this art class where you could do whatever you wanted. I would make tons of stuff out of wire. This is the only thing that is still around.

It's a vace with flowers in it.
I made cars, people, buildings and all sorts of other stuff.

Oh, and don't worry people, I will talk to the cleaning crew about the dust in the curio cabinet

Unfortunately I was not impressed at all with the store. They did have a few good things there, but not enough to warrant me going back in a hurry anytime soon. I am lucky enough to have an old hobby shop (Trains and Lanes) and and a guy (Fantastic Plastic) where i can get all my model car stuff when i need them. Leather, well my best friend has his own leather shop so I am set with anything leather that i ever need, I just have to make it myself and he helps me if i get stuck. I guess I am either lucky or spoiled to have other choices besides a chain store to get my supplies. willing to trade some flat ground for a few stores?

...here's a bike I made out of a coat hanger....
