Hello all,

I am Wolf Cycletech, a small specialist manufacture in the UK. I specialise in unique cruisers and restorations of classic bikes- as well as the more mundane every day services. I have previously organised a design and build course at a specialist college over here- take a look at the educational page of my website. http://www.wolf-cycletech.webs.com to see some of the tasteful and otherwise bikes built by my students. I am hoping to start running the course as a build off amongst educational establishments in the east midlands area of England.

Keep being creative, there are some fantastic and imagantive builders on this site,

Paul

Thank you sir. I wish I had found this site many moons ago- It oftens seems that over here few cyclists can appreciate the creativity of custom building! It is great to see so much imagination and 'have a go' gumption :D

Thanks, I hope that my future endevours to get the challenge expanding emulate the success of the Ratrod build off. Ratrods are rare over here, we don't tend to have many examples of the old american bikes lying around- only the far east copies of the last decade or so.

Still we have an exemplar bike that we use which is built around a frame designed and made by one of my young students, he loved the board track look- will post a pics of Dan's bike soon. I hope youguys don't mind me using your combined efforts as inspiration for some of my future students?

Hey just found out that my previous employer, a college still has my engineering web page live (don't know why as engineering isn't done there any more and certainly no one teaches bike engineering- but I ain't complaining if they want to continue to show off what we did).

You can see the work that my students were producing. Click on the thumb nails and they come up full screen!

man i need to come to your college, and i could be a student there! i am trying to persaude my engineering teacher i can chop a bike for my a level, but hes from victorian times and probably wouldn't be happy unless i built an iron ship. however, i'm thinking i can turn up a lot of custom thread end caps, and make some custom yokes for a fork. any ideas on what sort of thing is appropriate for a school project?
thanks marcus
