It hit me yesterday...

Why am I not entering my wife's bike in the WBO'17?!?!

So here it is! I'm going to recap everything I've done since the start of WBO'17, pretty much a cut/paste of what is in the "other" build thread...

Where I was when the build-off started...

...no springer parts, still some finish work, and(of course) pinstriping!

On 1/9, I asked....

"Hey everyone, I'm in need of a decent rat trap spring for this bike!

Anyone hoarding???"

On 1/24,I added...

"I've been working a little at a time trying to clean up the pieces of the rat trap springers. Didn't have a good spring, so I settled on sandblasting and painting one I had. All the rocker bits were soaked in EvapoRust for at least 24 hours. All this to finally get the wife's bike mechanically assembled. Now, all that's left to do now is add the red and white pinstripes!!"

"It's done!! I hunkered down and finished my wife's Spaceliner! New name..."Wolfliner"! She is a graduate of NC State, hence "Wolfpack Girl"!

Fresh pinstripes...heck they're still wet!! [emoji12]"

I'm glad there is something left to do, not allowed to jump in with a completely finished bike!

Yep, now I'm done!!

Cut, bent, and polished a piece of aluminum into a headbadge, applied the "official" mascot and ....

Now it's done!!

Just found a pic of what this bike looked like when I acquired it...

Yep, CHROME!! But the chrome was so bad that I sandblasted it off and prepped for Powdercoat!!!
