(with apologies to the previous 'tc' thread) just for fun, which bike YOU CURRENTLY OWN do you see being considered a classic years from now? i'm guessing when i'm long gone my rivendell atlantis is the most likely of my bikes to be priced far out of proportion to it's value....... :?:

I guess any of my Electra's could be the collector bikes of the future. My Rock a Billy isn't made anymore (for whatever that's worth). Boy's 20" Straight 8 might be worth a bunch later on also. Both of those get ridden to death they are so nice to ride though so they could be too worn out to be worth anything down the line even if they turn out to be collectible.
My 88 Schwinn Traveler (27" Frame) that I bought new could be worth something now, and perhaps even more later. But that's pretty old and I think you mean new stuff that we personally own.
