This project in the result of a bike swap. Person or persons unknown did horrible blue spraybomb on it!
Mfg in 1987 in Taiwan, it is either a '87 or '88 Raleigh City Sport Skyline. "Urban Access" was what Raleigh considered it at the time.
Did initial cleaning with oven cleaner.
After some effort the crappy remaining plastic pedal came off and I replaced with nice used alloy pedals.
Seat post is stuck (too high for me!) still working on that.
Rear derailleur is froze swapped Shimano SIS from Huffy used girls donor bike.
Part of the deal is stem, bars and grips did not go with the swap so substituting my own scrounged parts, Got cool MTB bars at a swap - label from seller says "2001 MOSH bars" gonna give 'em a try...
