It seems like most modern springer forks follow the same 'Schwinn' template.
What size are the bolts that are used to hold the front rods to the Spring assembly? I want to know the size of the threads, not the nut that goes on it.
Thanks in advance!

I'm pretty sure they're 5/16" 20 TPI carriage bolts, maybe 3/4" length.. They actually hold both the legs and the forward struts, and the whole assembly pivots together.

and the long bolt that goes thru the spring is 3/8-16

i had to drill out a snapped bolt ,
while trying to assemble it , a small flake of chrome musta picked up and siezed the bolt
i snapped the bolt trying to remove it
re drilled the hole , got lucky with the tap and didn,t mess up the threads
pretty cheap bolt to have snapped like that
