Tall Springer anyone?

Does anyone out there know of a springer that would fit a bike with an 8" Steer Tube?

Assuming you weren't referring to the head tube of the frame.

I'm sorry... I did mean the head tube, but the link you gave is for 8.5" so that might work yes?

Some of the prewar Schwinn girls springers were made for a really long head tube. There were 3 different sizes but I'm not sure of the exact dimensions. Gary

You need about 3/4" for the bearings and races, and another for the top nut. :| If you included the outer bearing races in your measurement it would probably work. If not, you need 9".
