yeah...

I'm waiting on some more bits to finish the tank. I also have a couple pairs of functional handlebars, but I'm still looking for the "just right" ones to appear.

Carl.

Yeah that's almost the last of the cymbals I had. Those were THICK hi-hat cymbals, very nice to work with (band saw). I've done some nice pickguards on guitars with them, but it's the first time I used it on a bike! I have some junk thin ones but they're too beat to use for much... although as I'm typing I'm thinking about a hammered bronze something....

Carl.

What about Bonneville salt flats wheel covers?

Great seeing that work of art in the light! Love the cymbal too!
I agree with the component colors. Maybe pick 2-3 colors in the same pallet and theme of the bike.

Don't go to fast on that bike when its done as you might end up going Back to the Future .

Haha! Just finished metalizing the "Flux Capacitor" circuit... I like it better than before, still a bit of color bleeding thru, but I actually layered the copper, silver, and gold in horizontal lines to make it look as if it has been coming in for a reentry...

Gotta love those three metal color packs of Sharpies... I've made use of them in the past on The Difference Engine in the WBO. They're good for just touching up nicks and highlighting little details too!

It's better with the components bronzed...

There is a brass guitar pick in there too...

I have seat posts for the "show" but this is my rider post... I'm a long legged bicronaut...

and that STILL isn't the correct front wheelset... I'm goin' skinny.

Carl.

I agree, the colors were okay.... but not "right"...
Trying to decide what color EL wire to run thru it all...
I know, I said it was done. But is it ever really done?

Carl.

Awesome to see that tank in the light of day!
Reminds me of an old McIntosh stereo amp that a frat brother had.

12 v filament circuit and you could light the tubes. I'd like one of those McIntosh amps.
That is a great idea, simple to find the pin outs for a 6L6, a 12ax7 and an EL84...

Anyone ever get 1/2 done and say to yourself, "I just have to ride this."?
Self put the crank and chain on and went for a spin tonight...
Even tho its got the wrong front wheel, and I haven't done any work on the rear end, it felt good riding it. ( I knew there was a reason I put that goofy seat post on there...)
