    angle grinder

    I have used my $15 HF cheapie, hard, for years. I used to do quite a bit of welding, and grinding, and it has held up to everything I've thrown at it, for about what -- five years now?

    Headset bearing question

    What I do, is spray a few squirts of Brake Kleen on them, and then vigorously rub with a rag. Bearings shine like new in an instant, and it doesn’t take very much of that stuff! Then I apply Moly grease and I’m off.

    Rim sanding option?

    "Dremel" brand tools are kind of costly, but the knock-offs are really decent and priced well. i have a knock off, can't remember the brand - maybe black and decker. it's worked flawlessly for years now. :)

    Here's the Haro. I cannot, for the life of me, find the 'before' pictures because they are a couple of years old, but I will! It was in bad shape, no stickers, no wheels, no nothing. :)

    Hi, gang. This site looks cool! I haven’t built a ‘rod’ bike yet, but a friend and I did build quite the chopper frame a while back. I mostly clean old parts up, make 'em shine again, put them on bikes I find for cheap or free, and make someone’s day by selling the bikes at ridiculously low...
