Few weeks ago a coworker asked if I could find a rebuild/restore a old bicycle for his future wife. We happen to find a ladies Schwinn on CL so that is what we had to start with turned out to 1965 American frame was straight, wheels extremely rusted ho real hope in saving them. Large amounts of heavy surface rust on rack and handlebars fenders. Bike was orignally Pink and White as discovered upon removal of headbadge. Plan was to save as many of parts as possible, send to powder for paint job. New rims and tires where purchased. As pictures the rust cleanup required much elbow grease, all in all everbody was very pleased with the final results. Took about 9 days start to finish. Thanks for taking time to look.
