Apparently it's black chrome month at my house....completely stock right down to the minty original skinwalls.

Should clean up nicely. :wink:

I need to get a set of tires for this near-twin I just picked up. The ghost of a blue Schwinn logo is screened on the side, wonder what the chances of finding NOS tires are?

Ginny's BMX has blue Predator tires, but not black.

I'd just replace them with a set of knock off gumwalls from Ebay.

Nice Find!!.. That was a very popular model at the schwinn shop I worked at back in highschool. I was soo sick of putting them together!!.-

It's funny how they used two different sub names for these...Nighthawk and Streetwise.

They look about the same except for the black shiny side rims on mine.

Does your bike have Cheng-Shin tires?

Can you imagine how clean his children must be? I mean wow. If he cleans them like a bike. Yikes. I can see it now. " Dad you can stop scrubbin, no please don't use ajax.... Why do I have to use wax in my hair?"

I do by the gallon size containers....last me a couple of months if I'm lucky.

If you don't mind letting your parts soak over night, the stuff can't be beat!
