20 x 4 on a regular rim...

Has anyone been able to get a 20 x 4 Stingray tire on a regular size rim? I'm struggling, and before I struggle any more, I wanna see if any one has done it yet.

after much sweating, cursing the tire gods, grunting and groaning I got it on. Alas, too big for the frame. I'm going to try and find a 3 inch tire. I figured I had the four inch, I'd give it a try.

There are a few threads out there where someone has done this.
There is even a current build going on that has those.

If you check about 1/3 of the way through my Fugsley build you will see an easy tire mounting rig I made to put Harley tires on an OCC rim.

Yes u can. I have one on a 20" rim and there is slight overhang but it's awesome. U will need an offset sproket though. All u got to do is widen the rear triangle. Cut the tube where the fender mounts and grind the left over off. Widen it and put in a new tube.
