I watched an ad for a Yard Art Western Flyer start at $75 and drop to $50 then $40 then $30. I went to pick it up last night and ended up with two more. I thought I'd share them here.

The red Western Flyer frame is really nice, I like the lines. It doesn't look like the usual cantilever frame. I'd love to see see more pictures, especially from the side view, if you have any

All AMF made bikes, first is around 65, and the last two are 70's. Came new with the brake lever backwards! I've never seen that.

Here's a crappy photo for the time being. I'll grab some better pics of the frame and wheels this evening. I agree - this frame has great lines.

Here's the ad where I found it. I bought if for a blog post on how to build a $100 klunker (and possibly for BO 19.)

The Texas Ranger bike is not sticking around - I have a neighbor that is an actual Texas Ranger and is a Texas Ranger history buff. His wife is buying it to surprise him by hanging it in his man cave.
My first bike was a Texas Ranger Quarterhorse. For a kid in Texas in the 1970s it couldn't get better than that. It was purple!
