I picked this up at the Midwest Bicycle Swap from aka_locojoe (Thanks, Randy!).

It didn't take long to get it on the road.

Luckily I didn't sell my Sachs Duomatic Tandem wheel at the swap!

I accented the lugs with a touch of gold paint.

This bike is BEEFY to say the least.

The frame, forks, stems, seat posts, and crank sets are original to the bike. I have a plan to really make this bike pop. Stay tuned for more!

WAY COOL ! I had planned to attend the swap meet but plans changed and it did'nt work out. Hope to get there sometime...

Are those 26 x 2.125s on it?

Sweet, classsic, euro, ballooner, tandem. It's just begging for two brass Crane bells, some baskets or panniers or both!

They are 2.125s, but they are shoe horned in there. The bike was originally rolling on 26x1.50s. I hardly have room to slip a sheet of paper between the tires and the frame. That may change once I find the wheels I want to go with.

I say, try to stay fat, is there any 'play' in the fork, where say a wider hub would spreadthem out a little?

They are pretty solid. I will be keeping the balloons, just have to make sure the wheels stay true.
