The red & blue badge wasn't used until 1950. I have a similar Snyder built Hawthorne, the BB is stamped "05 EH", the 05 makes mine a 50. -Adam
thanks, the BB is only slightly stamped,like 1/2 of the stamping. Cant make sense of it. Ill consider it a 50's.......

I agree on the date, early 50's.. I have a woman's 48, and from what I was told / have read, the silver / blue badge on mine was only used two years, 48-9, iirc.
nice looking ride though, nice colors, too.
