Just got this one. bought it on ebay.
its not in the greatest condition but the paints all original.
according to the seller its a 1952 Spitfire, havnt had a chance to verify the serial code
OH! and this one DOES have a bolt on kickstand, unlike my other fresh find 40's DX,
_confusing :?
but seems correct. its a 24" with S2 rims i believe. some numbskull painted over them
but i can see the original cream paint with black pinstripes underneath
i know u guys can help me with a way to get to the original paint.
would a scotchbrite pad and paint thinner work?

plans are to change the seat, hadlebars, tires, and grips
clean it up, grease it up and ride...
