In the late seventies my wife had a bike that had been handed down to her form her older sister. It was a lavender girls bike with a tall sissy bar and a sparkly purple seat. She thinks her dad fixed it up for them and had repainted it. So, I've decided to re-create the bike for her.
Here's the '70s Western Flyer I picked up awhile back. It was missing the rear wheel, but has most of the original parts, faux blue jean seat, sissy bar, handlebars, grips and "Tough One" front tire. It had the rear fender, but I used it for another project. I need a few parts, but I'm going to start on the paint, bottom bracket and headset soon.
