the reason for the negative camber on the majority of slammed bugs you see is due to the swing axle transmission. This is prevolent in pre 68 bugs. The on the axle there is an inboard joint so it can pivot up and down for suspension's sake, but no outboard joint. so the poor wheel is just along for the ride. it follows the arc of the axle as it moves up and down. kinda like this (---

so you might have the car lowered like this /----\

but when you lift the rear of a swing axle car, the opposite happens: \----/

Example: my 67 baja

in this pic you an clearly see the lack of an outboard joint :)

that thing is wicked cool! but the angle on the rear tires ????????
It would seem somebody cheaped out on the rear suspension.
that things gonna chew tires for breakfast lunch and dinner. :)

Crooked tires are cool, most swingaxle bugs that are lowered have this stance, they have done it since the 50's. I have a few and they drive fine.

man thats my dream car right thur although an oval version of the orange one would be even more awsome for me but im a ratter and i roll a fat chick 8)

Go with irs, and make your own trailing arms. I want to make a set of lowered arms to get rid of wheel tuck. I made the 3x3 rears for this...
