Bicycle Stand (to work on bicycle) any ideas?

Seeking a good sturdy bicycle stand to hold a frame in place while working on bicycle, any ideas on where to look? Reviews? Thanks

the 3 most common brands you'll hear about, all ive owned have been park stands, i really like mine. check ebay too, some people have been posting some killer deals from ebay for repair stands.

Park obviously makes good stands, for a price.

At the first shop I worked at they bought the bench mount style then had a fab shop weld a pipe to an old tractor trailer rim for a base, then the bench mount holdeer was bolted to the top of that. Saved some $ that way.

I use a portable park stand at home but it moves around, and I'm always on the look out for the shop professional style.

you could try hitting up some local bike shops, see if they have any they are not using..

I've only used it a couple times since I got it for Christmas and it's only been with newer bikes but so far I really like it. It's a Park but I don't recall the model.

My Park stand is one of my favorite tools. holds big heavy cruiser bikes no problem. and I can easily bring it up from the basement when the weather is nice

You'll love the Park Repair Stands - you can take a 50 pound bike, clamp it in and rotate it completely 360 degrees and stop anywhere to work on something. I too have a PCS-10 - here's a link to one on ebay dirt cheap.
