Like most events around here, it was on the small side...but, there were definitely some quality bikes!
Here are some pics...I focus on cruisers and race bikes mostly (as I don't fit well in a 20…and freestyle/park/flatland/etc were the downfall of 'real' bmx
). I noticed I missed taking a pic of one of my faves...a Schwinn cantilever given the BMX cruiser treatment including some 24" skyways.
I picked up a killer set of cranks at a swap booth...
Despite my prejudices against the skatepark wing of BMX, I did spend a considerable amount of time watching some amazing riding in the concrete jungle portion of the show... don't tell anyone, but, it is quite fun to watch
. There were probably as many bikes in the park as the show itself.
The Taco Festival was an epic failure from all reports. Only four taco trucks and complete organizational breakdown...cancelled during day 1 of the event. Glad we didn't go

I hope to go to the show next year...and, hopefully take a few bikes of my own!
