Third annual Cycle-Re-Cycle bicycle show — 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013. Registration starts at 9. Awards for best: 1) original or restored bicycle w/o modifications, 2) best modified or custom bike, 3) best "daily ride" bike used for regular transportation or recreation. Entry fee $3 per bike or maximum $10 if entering more than 3 bikes; for kids 15 & under, $1 per bike. Cycle-Re-Cycle is a non-profit bicycle shop at 300 12th St. in downtown Benton Harbor in southwest Michigan. Shop is behind Citgo gas station, across Main St. from Kinexus/Michigan Works! Food available. Skewed View BMX stunt show at noon. If you have useable/fixable bikes or parts to donate, please bring them. Looking for a project bike or parts, you might find them at C-R-C.
