The cover definitely has a western vibe, but may be a little too picnic-y. Maybe some burlap sacks? or just raw burlap?

Got a little time to make some progress got my welds smoothed out and primed.

Then I started working on a tank panel took a piece of cardboard and traced the opening cut it out then used it for a template to cut the wood.

Now I need to get the drive train up to see what I need to get the three speed working.

Guess I cut the cable end holder off when I cut the frames up. So I had to figure something else out so I looked thru the frames I had laying around and found something to use but was an alloy frame. So I cut it out shaped it a little and figured out where it needed to be clamped it in place drilled a couple holes and pop riveted it.

Howz da wagon coming along?
TicToc 3 weeks to go.

It's coming along finally had time this weekend to get some work done. Last week after work I started sanding most of the trike down little each day so Saturday morning I could prime everything sanded. Then Sunday morning gave the primer a lite sanding and hit it up with a couple coats of flat black.

Now I pretty much just need to finish putting everything together and cleaning up a few things.

So yesterday started working on the trike got the crank assembly and front chain cleaned and installed and attached the tank. Got a pic of what I got done. Might sand the tank back down and redo it not liking it.

Then I got this sharp pain I've had a few times before so I knew what it was another kidney stone. So I was down for the count and missed work today. Passed it this morning so feeling better now.

Been there, done that ! Kidney stones can really drop a guy !

Couple hours here and there I've been able to get down to just couple things left. The shift cable looked bad so I decided to cover it with the MC cable outer shield. Painted the chain guard went with some duck cloth for the cover.

Yesterday I concentrated on the grill getting mostly everything I needed welded done. I used some rear stays and some more of the crib to make a shelf and figured to use the dropouts to hang utensils from

Then I welded in couple pieces of steel inside front to back for the adjustable grill grate.

Still need to change how the wheels mount tried to use some dropouts but they're to flimsy or try n brace it and paint. If nothing else it'll be just the three wheeler by it self.
