Way back in December I bought this from RatRod member "sonatageek"
Final got it put together.
I did receive it well packed but its been sitting like this for 8 months

A few months ago my 6yr old bought this NOS seat for $5 at a swap meet

Any one know anything about this hub I sprayed carb cleaner to get the grim off and found this

Seems a little big for a 24 maybe was set up with 26s originaly?
The tires even hold air I took it a round the block no problems
The fact its a little to big for him gives me some time to strip it down and do the three color paint job he wants

He'll grow into it fast, better rehab it quick. Love the look of the Roadmaster frames.

I will second that 8) it might be a little big for now, but he will be able to use it for a year or two longer than a 20" bike.

Bump!...This one from the dead!!!

Time to do this bike up right!

I am going to try and sneak a cool paint job on this, As a Christmas gift with out my now 9 year old knowing :roll:

The fork needs to be straighten. Got the best fab guy in town working on it already ( thanks Gary :wink: )

Glad to hear you are painting it I'll sand blast the fork and prime it to save you time. Oh amd a funny thing ...this is my next proj. With an ebay Road Master badge in the mail.

Some pre/post bend photos Got the fork bent back with my home made 8 ton press. also some uncovered fork stencil paint.

Hey Get this thing already! Its been cluttering up the bsmt for day...........Both the fork and truss rod bracket are done. I also tapped a 10-32 hole for the top fender screw. See ya soon.

Even tapped a screw hole and blasted and primed it..... truss rod bracket looks great also!

Not going to use the skiptooth stuff on this one. Swapped out the rear wheel for one I got from Ratina
I plan to use the JC Higgins chain guard and chain ring

Plus I finally have a reason to use my $4 Kenda's :mrgreen:

Congratulation on your pile of parts, it's a good feeling, especially as you're getting down to the wire
