Coast King Starliner

I was kinda bummed last week, outbid on a sweet bike. (it happens...) So I ended up buying this 'un from the 'bay, as a parts donor for my Thunder Jet. Actually, I was looking at another Coast King on there tonight, and the seller said they had "Coast to Coast" stores out there (ND) back in the day, and their bikes were called Coast King. So that answers that! (Made by Chain Bike/Ross.) ~Adam

My Dad was a bike mechanic for the Coast to Coast Hardware Store in Williston ND for over 20 years. They sold bikes badged as Coast King that were made by various companies including Monark. This store was also a Schwinn dealer. They closed their doors this summer after being in business for over 60 years.

Nice Chrome bike. We had some Coast to Coast stores in Idaho.

I just noticed today that the original front tire has 'Coast King' on it! Too bad there's only one... ~Adam
