I've been putting this together piece by piece for some time now. Not two parts came for same bike. And I'm not finished either just wanted to post up some pics. Comments welcome.

The spindle pedals look great. I used to ride barefoot as a kid on spindles. The stretched out wheelbase looks great also. What year is the frame?

Yea, I haven't seen any pedal spindles being used in builds so I figured I would try them. I don't know the year because I covered the serial # with the metal plates, but the head badge puts it 1946-1960. I'll be sure and check next time I pull that plate off.

I had to use 2 of my master links to make a chain long enuff. Now I'm on the look out for master links....

Hi. New here. I know this thread is super old but I just picked up a ‘56 Columbia bike yesterday and the OP bike is exactly what I was looking to do. I was wondering if you had more information on what type of fork is on your bike and what you used to push the back wheel back. Thanks!
