Dang sickness I tell you. I am a BMX guy, but found this and couldn't resist. I know it is a Columbia, and the owner said it is circa 1957/58. Where can I find the serial number on it to ID it with a chart of Columbia serial numbers I have?

Figured it out. It is a 1958 Columbia Torpedo. I cannot seem to find any pics of a boy's bike, as I am finding all kinds of girl's bikes. Why?

I think its a combination of the abuse boys put their bikes through and the care girls gave to theirs. That's led to a signficantly lower percentage of boys' bikes surviving through the years. That seems to be the trend with almost any model of vintage bicycle, not just the one you've got.
