Anyone ever hear of a Specialized Fatboy Chopper?

Looks like a very well made bike and I love those wheels and disk brakes but for $1400 I'd be thinking of buying a nice used Honda 750 or similar and having a bit of gas money left over.

Both are $30 but the Schwinn Phantom BMX I think is worth it and you get the little bike. I guess it's a 90's Schwinn but I don't know much about them and the BMX Museum only has this model as 80's/early 90's.

Too bad I have no money and I'm trying to get rid of my bicycles or at least out of having most of them. Since I couldn't afford it this week anyways and next week I am hoping to get a 85/86 Mustang and the new Halloween 35th anniversary edition Blu-Ray.

Re: Craigslist nightmares and dreams... funny stories

I've parted out about 5 exercise bikes over the years, but it's been a while since I've come across one.
That probably means that I'll find 3 this Sat. morning.

Man king, that'd be perfect for that his and hers motorcycle seat you got. Already has that easy rider paint job, then just add a little rake, tilted up fishtails, and sissy bar.

I had never heard of them before and therefore I had to Google it. Maybe it is a hipster thing, if so that might explain my ignorance.

I remember seeing infomercials for them 10 years ago. I do not remember them being anything even remotely close to $800...if anything, I think they were closer to his asking price now of $325.

Got this one off of CL from a bicycle enthusiast about a half hour drive from my house. We had a great time discussing bikes and other stuff before I left. He has at least a dozen or more bikes in his basement that he showed me while I was there. All nice mostly road bikes that he has restored or bought new.

Got a great bike for my wife and met a cool bike guy to boot!

Re: Craigslist nightmares and dreams... funny stories

we had a trikke for a while. #2 insisted he needed it, so he bought it for himself. we all rode it once. it was miserable. sold it on CL for what we paid for it.

That's a beauty RMAN!!!
It's always cool to find another "bike guy".
A tourist from Florida was in Savannah and bought a couple of items from me on CL. We ended up sharing bike stories. He has quite a few Dyno Cruisers and even has fiberglass mold for Dyno tanks.
