Hey guys. I'm building a Ruff Dean and I'm wondering about crank arm length. I'm running Kenda Flame 26x30's and I have my fork arms extend to the max. I took my first test ride last night and I struck the pedals a lot. Even just pedaling in a straight line and swerving left to right was causing pedal strikes. What are ppl using for 3 piece applications? I'm told the standard bmx crank length is 175mm.

Jeez. I'm way too long. 175 is the most common size though correct?

Or, you could change the fork. Something to raise the front end a couple inches, maybe smooth the ride out? Like a Monark springer?

I run 5.5's on my Porucho and I scrape once in a while, but I also think the Dean is lower then the Porucho?
