This is not new but I thought I'd post something BMX.
A while back my friend dropped a box full of bike parts off. He tells me to "make it ridable". I had free-range when it came to paint scheme and parts. He knew he wanted yellow in there somewhere. The scheme is yellow, white, and matte black! So I got to work.
After I stripped, painted, and preped everything for paint I shot the frame with 5 coats of yellow.
I'm sorry I don't have many pictures inbetween but you can get what I did.
After I got all the paint on I did some personalizations for him. Now I'm not the best and drawing or writing but it was a try.
PABCO is the name of our bicycle "business"
This part is to the stem and was all black so I painted the outline of the DB to make it pop.
This is the original seat and it had this logo that I liked so I put it on the bike
Needed some contrasting color
He requested his name or initials on it so why not the handlebars.
The after clearing over everything here's how it ended up
Went from a box of parts to a nice bike
This was about the fifth bike I've redone myself including paint. I think it came out well and he loves it! I even got complimented by his father.
Here he is enjoying it
Sorry about his pants falling down in this picture but here he is following me in!
