early 80's disk brake

picked this up in 82 and believe its an old suntour if memory serves i took it off a biachi but that may be wrong any info would be great and if you know of any others that would be great too.

I think Shimano made those, but I guess it could be Suntour :? . Either way, I recall them being somewhat weak. :|

it easily could be a shimano with the little blue emblem they work a little better then center pulls and have had it work real well with a solid old school positron (?) shift cable from schwinn. Do you know where I can find another one?

that's what I'm using on my RRBBO bike , mine says Shimano , and came off an 80's JC Pennys bike

The linear core SIS/Positron type cable housing should definitely help, doesn't compress like the old radial core. 8)
