I was looking for some feed back on this bad boy. I built this bike from different parts i thought would go together as a sick bike. It has a 1940 Elgin frame, columbia springer fork, the rims were not like any i've seen they are similar to the drop center but have mor distinct grooves, with old new departure hubs. Schwinn typhoon tires ( my wifec said the brown fat franks did'nt look right) i put an old rollfast badge on it and painted it with emron and all pinstriping is hand painted.

Thanks guys!!! I shot the paint myself, and did all the other work. All the nuts bolts hardeware and chain i soaked in vinegar for a day then hit it with a brass brush. The rust comes right off and the brass, cause its softer than steel transfers to the steal and leaves a yellowish color to it. I've noticed that when i do this to my hardeware it not only removes rust but keeps it from rerusting. The only thing i send out is for chrome and pinstriping witch is done by this OLd Cat named, Howard Zellar in Redding Ca. Zellar does all striping by hand and mainly is an automotive / hot rodder stripper. He's been teaching me here and there, but i'm far from perfect. These were my second set of wheels i laced and trued. gets easier each time.
