European Monark Duplex 1949

My first bike that I put up here on RatrodBikes.

Its my Vintage MONARK Duplex that I put some new bits and peaces on just so I can use the bike as it should.
Found her rusting away in a Vintage carshow.

I have the Brooks Vintage Flyer saddle on. Tires are Continental Retro Style. Shimano drumbrake wheels with 8 gears.
And tell me what you think!!!

must go nicely with the modern drivetrain. that chainguard is nice, looks European to me.

Just drove a 65km ride with the bike. The modern drivetrain was well worth the extra bucks!
The chainguard was a full cover chainguard that I cutted down to the more sporty size =)
No doubt it is a European bike! I just wonder how old it is.
