Got this ‘74 Fastback frame pretty much free with the purchase of a Stingray. Going for as cheap a build as possible.
Quickly becoming a favorite. Was going the BMX route but it keeps working out muscle bike style. Not sure if the tank stays or not. I do think the rear tire needs to be beefier but it looks fine with the black wheel.
If I go with the chrome rim and a fatter rear tire I get a taller gear and I can use these muffler looking pegs. Then all the BMX stuff goes to that thrashed stingray which can surely take a few more knocks.
Shorter crank and tiny pedals keep foot strikes to a minimum. I can even pedal in a turn. One of the ideas I may revisit was a run-a-bout/Krate...stow it in the trunk, tighten a couple things and you’re off on a muscle bike!
