The 2nd Annual Savannah Rock and Roll Marathon happened today, so I road around this morning checking it out. Then I decided to mock up a bit more on FinkBomb. I mounted a BOA-G tire to the Nexus 7 wheelset that I have and then threw a skinny 700C wheel up front.

Bolted on the sissy bar and laid the purple nanner on.

Then I threw on some regular size apes.

Then I pulled out my Nirve Cannibal to compare the two. The biggest difference is the rake on the Cannibal is extended a lot more.

I like the big and littles!! The nannar seat give that bike a cool look
Don't think I could handle the seat angle tough :lol:
Interesting to see the difference between the BOA-G and the Nirve (?) tires

This has been fun to play with, but I took the Nirve Cannibal out for a ride yesterday and just decided that this geometry just isn't comfortable for me. I don't like stretching my feet and arms so far forward. It could be even worse on the Fink, so I am screaching this build to a halt.

I plan to clean up the Rat Fink frame and sell it. I still haven't decided if I am going to keep the triple trees for myself or not.

I am also going to sell the Cannibal.

i wanted to get one of the 26incher electras to turn it into a muscle chopper..
its spensive to get one though :/

this one local guy has the yellow Phat chopper with the Linkage fork i want to buy off him..
i dont know how im gonna be able to find him and ask, 'hes deft' :|
i saw it sittin infront of a paint shop and i walked in and asked if the guy at the desk knew whos bike it was..
he said it was his employs bike, and i asked him if he could tell me where he got the fork 'first time i ever seen a phat cycle btw' :p
he was wrighting notes back and fourth to him and thats when he told me he was deft..

if i find him, 'have before' but didnt have any paper.. :/ i want that Phat chopper :?

oh well... lookin good King' i wanna see what it turns out to :)

anyway,... today riding home from school on my Yellow fivespeed Sting i piked off you fish..
guess who i saw heading the same direction?
none other then the Deft guy on that yellow linkage Phat Chopper.. :roll: i seem to keep running into him..

it was kinda funny in a way, when we were riding the same direction and he noticed me i looked over and he looked at me and my bike then smiled and did a deft guy laugh of approval..
i tired to compliment his ride, but it was pointless :/ i couldnt get to a stop with him to ask if he would sell his ride.. we were riding about the same pace for awhile..
then he turned into the body/paint shop he works at where i first spotted the bike..

i come to the conclusion, that this is more then likely his only form of transportation.. and hes probably really proud of his ride 'i would be too' :roll: :mrgreen:

that being its worth alot more then him then me and i would be better off trying to nab one off someone up here :lol:
oh well, im more focused on getting stuff for my motor-stingray motorized and stuff.. for transporting around :)
 
Iven, glad to hear you are enjoying that 5 speed Ray. Have you posted any photos of it lately?

You should go after that linkage Phat chopper. Those have a wicked springer fork.
