I am startin my firs build. I am taking an old AMF frame and a compleate donor bike :p and swapping all parts over for my first rat. any info will help as this is my first build. so step by step would be best. do I need to clean and lube old bb spot for new crankset or just wipe out and swap... etc... thanks in advance. pics will come in a bit. Im stoked

The AMF frame should be compatible with the current common coaster bike crank bearings and wheels, although you may have to enlarge the front dropouts. The steer-tube length on the fork may be too short. :|

your right, my fork is holding on by a "thread" :wink:

but I also tightened the handelbars real good until I can get a longer fork...

I am in love with her though..
