Flat Black Spray Paint

Just wanted to know if anyone had a preference to a brand of Flat Black Paint that gives good end results. I am planning to paint a springer fork and was clueless on what I should use. If anyone has input on this inquiry please let me know.

i use rustolium because it sprays well and is tough. dupli color is good too.

Only problem I have with flat paint is the lack of a protective clear coat. Is there any way to get around this with a rattle can?

How does that spray. I have tried cheaper satin clear and it sprays on like glazed donut icing and looks like crap.

ppgs dplf 90(not rattle can but if you want a true suede thats what it is)
if you want to go rattle can use kryolns semi-gloss black with testors gloss coat over that(almost dead on when compared to the epoxy primer :wink: )

Anyone ever tried using Barbecue paint? I had some and used it for some stencil art...looks nice and thick and flat. Seems to be pretty darn indestructible too!
