Sorry for the lack of updates lately everyone but the weather here sucks at the moment but I Did manage some progress and also modified the design of the tray quite a bit as it was a tiny bit heavy :(
So I completely lost the original tray but I did make up new light mounts for the rear and mounted a box for mock up,

I kept the original battery box under the trike box for now and tidied up the wiring loom (still braided)

It still needs afew tweaks here and there but its almost ready for final break down and paint,

Here you can see the frame of the old tray, Also got in my new crescent bars from a local shop and I decided to sit the trailer on and have a look.

Better pick of the bars (box was not mounted in the pic)

Oooh yeah! The box is slick. And, that trailer! Was that in the original plan Kel? It really sets it apart from other trike builds. What are your plans for the deck of the trailer? Flat, box, refrigeration...?!

Not too sure on the trailer set up yet, It will be fully wired tho (i'm thinking the same lights as on the trike rear?) Just finished setting up the park brake for the trailer. As for the trailer deck I'm leaning towards a flat deck with maybe some wooden railing of some sort for the sides? not too sure yet.

Sorry everyone but I'm not going to be able to finish this build in time :( I messed up my hand, had surgery today I will be out for a month. Best of luck to all the other builds

Take your time healing. These builds are fun but if you dont finish, its ok too. Your trike will still be waiting for you when your hand is better. Plus you will come up with more ideas in the mean time

Two years ago, I broke my finger in two places a month before my biggest ride in a decade. I couldnt squeeze a brake lever or shift. To train, I bough a coaster braked 700cc bike and rode with one hand. My cast came off two days before the ride. I could hold the bar but that was it. I made it for 7 days and 545 miles on my rear brake and shifting only my rear gears. It was brutal.

Sorry to hear that. Hope your hand heals back 100%.
