Gee Bee Sportster....

Ok, my first bike build. I guess I am late, but as long as I finish by the deadline huh? My inspration is from the old Gee Bee Model E sprotster. Here is what I have accomplished (the pic is on my toolbox for inspiration.....Picked up the donor from Gold street Customs yesterday....Thanks...

A little more progress and mockup....DO NOT use paint stripper, I have never been successful with it. anyway, ill keep sanding untill I cant sand anymore.

wow, a flying bike, this i've got to see. also one of my fav planes. you better do this right or i will put a bad spell on it. be watching this one that's for sure.

I always liked the Bee Gee since I built a model of one with my Grandfather when I was a little kid. I bet a bike in that style will be something special

Got tired of sanding, so I cleaned her up and put her in primer. Got a nice color sceme going on, basicaly to match the above picture of the Bee Gee...Will post pics later as I make a little more progress. I need to make an order for parts, gotta spend a little moola. New forks, seat, pedals, head unit, and a few more surprises, well thats all for now.

ive sat in the gee bee R2 the red and white one and i know the pilot personally, i wish i could have been around in the 30's to see the big Reno races
the new red bull ones are cool but not the same

can't wait to see the prop ya goin use for the handlebars. so on the front are ya goin put on 2 small wheels to. wow, that would be awsome.

Got the paint rolling, I still have to pinstripe between the colors, but you get the idea......
