got me some new bars on the way

well i was cruising around the ichi bikes website and saw this set of bars on one of thier bikes which is here... http://ichibike.com/the-royal-boardtracker/ This is exactly the type of bar i wanted for my 52 schwinn corvette so with a little research i found out they are from velo orange and are called the belleville bars. well, i couldnt wait and had to order some. cant wait to put them on the bike. if anyone else likes them you can find them here http://store.velo-orange.com/index.php/components/handlebars/vo-belleville-config.html. I got them on ebay for 28 dollars though.

Those are the bars I used on my Spaceliner build:

Took me a while to find the right set, I knew these were it right when I saw them. Great bars. I got mine off of Amazon

while i see what you are saying, if i already have to buy a set of bars it wouldnt make sense to spend the same amount on apes and then cut them.

the idea was to re-purpose the apes you had laying around from your kid bike into something more modern.. If you don't have any old apes for donors, well then...
