I seen this stuff at a swapmeet that used a butane torch, in the demonstration he welded up a soda can so that it was solid on top and then he hit it with a sledge to show durability.
Me and my buddy just looked at each other and thought how it was yet we kicked ourselves for not buying it at the time....check out the website...muggyweld.com
 
i've seen it an what i heard about it over at cbn, it's not worth it. i don't know.

umm the stuff i seen on tv was alumaloy and all they used it on was aluminum.


you can gas weld(braze) with thin aluminum rod.

thats what I was thinking about when I read you seen it at a swap meets, this stuff you could rebuild engine mounts by making a molt around the broken engine block, filling it in with alumaloy then grinding it round / smooth and drilling tapping it...infomercials made me giggle. hahaha
