Started this bulid with my 11 year old son this week,

* Cool 7 speed Nexus wheel set with roller brake.... Cheap from coworker Bob.... viewtopic.php?f=16&t=53509


Taber has lots of cool ideas for this build.

This is my son's build he is pulling out the parts he wants and doing
The wrenching ..... One of my best memories is of my uncle and I building
A bike together when I was 10.
Loved that bike!

Hope for my son to have pride in his bike and building skills

i wish i knew people like you guys, none my buds into bikes like i am..
i got myself into bikes somehow :lol: i hope someday to build a bike with a son or daughter one day. :D
but at the time im still just a young lad myself :roll:

anyway looking to see how this build turns out looks good sofar :wink:

Looking forward to more posts. my 11 year old is all bout his Stingray build and wanted nothing to do with a Higgins rat so I sold it. Have fun!!
