Help Identify this Higgins

This bike I rebuilt about two years ago. Again, it was a travesty the condition of it when I found it. The frame,crank,chain guard and wheels were about all I could salvage. Fenders, handlebars, grips, seat, tires, chain and pedals are all new. It had a Higgins emblem on it that could not be re used. The Serial number I found is 502 5920 1. I place it at early 60"s? Any one up for the challenge in modeling/dating this bike? Thanks

Looks like a huffy built frame. The fork looks kind of new. Maybe 1982
