I purchased this bike from The Cabe forums though I knew the guy from Schwinn forums. He is a great guy to work with and his packing was beyond anything I had seen before. I know for certain the bike is a 1965 by the serial # but I don't know what it is called. I saw a Columbia Thunderbolt ad from '62...looked similiar to this one. Anyone knows what kind of Columbia this is?

i havent had many columbias

thunderbolt, firebolt (built in rack), fire arrow, speedliner, rambler,

i know theyre columbia models, but couldnt tell ya what ya got, i would think thunderbolt looks right.

edit - klunker has some closer pics of a thunderbolt in the classifieds viewtopic.php?f=2&t=10838&view=unread#unread

By the mid 60s, middleweights weren't selling as well, and most co.'s started consolidating their lines to one or two models.. Usually Columbias of the 60s have the model name on the chainguard, otherwise it's just kind of a standard cruiser.. Very clean one though! ~Adam
