Wow, that's a beautiful old gal!
Are the wheels/tires stock? Seems like it has a lot of fender gap, almost like a 24" wheel on a 26" bike.

Good eye......I think the rims are original the tires are not they are 26x1.75 Davis deluxe, tires are dryrot and cracked. Transferred truss rods and put them on my rider. Removed headlight cover and.........pretty clean inside.

I'll bet they're 26" with 1.75 tires on them instead of the stock 2.125.

That's how my 56 Higgins looked when I got it.
