hoffman arrow tandem

one of my friends pulled this off the trash curb the other day. i'm pretty sure he's going to give it to me.
do any of you know about this brand? history, year, etc...the head badge says "hoffman arrow" "hoffman sporting goods co. indianapolis usa"
i did a quick search and nothing came up. it's pretty cool, it steers from both seats. it needs alot of work.

Looks like a Colson made bike, probably 40s or early 50s.

That's a sweet looking tandem and appears to be in decent shape, although suffering from BFD. That tandem should be a keeper. Not easy to find one of those.

I agree, who throws stuff out like that these days???

One of our group has this one which I believe is a Colson.

I just saw this bike listed on Indianapolis Craig's List for $200.

yeah i ended up selling it. i needed money more than another project. got $200 for it.
