I think I posted this in the wrong area the first time. Anyway.... I went into a bike store I haven't been to before and noticed from a distance what looked like Dyno bicycles. I got up closer and realized they were Kustom Kruiser models manufactured after GT/Dyno was sold off. One was a red Deuce. The other turned out to be a pretty rare one. It was a Kustom Kruiser Kobra model, and the only year they made it was in 2006 (So basically, it's a 10 1/2 year old brand new bike!). My question in, what do you think a fair price would be for this, or would you not want it at all because it has a KK on the frame and not a D?

I understand that the folks in Taiwan do not make KK's anymore neither, so what is the significant difference(?). I see folks re-listing ~$600 for used GT Dyno Ultras, I see others listing the sum of their parts for more dollars than the whole bike. I like the more common ultra as more classic styling, and the #5 Kobra more bringing out the speed-racer "kid" inside some of us.

E-bay items 252476535431 (sold), 112032949782, 262557733960, 112056566040, 261951572185, 252450916236, 252469267649, 252473230665 and 302010927730, are all similar but different, and used somewhat.

The question brings up the rarity or perhaps uniqueness of bikes. Some bikes we do not mind specializing or changing to suit user preferences. Other bikes, such as NIB, create the dilemma of making the bike less collectable, or at least not seen as an improvement by others,
