Hey Guys,

I picked up a Huffy Cranbrook for only $20 that I have been planning on using to build a low rider and paint it with Plasti dip... thinking a cool/bright blue with black wheels, keep the white wall tires and add a low rider springer fork to it. When I was taking off the fenders, I was looking at the pieces that bolt onto the wheels and run over the fender. I was thinking they might make for a cool little sissy bar... that will be decided at a later time when I keep moving forward!

Later in the day, cruising through craigslist, came across a women's mountain bike, for free! Can't beat that! Ran over to grab it and brought it home! Probably going to take off the decals and maybe paint it as well. It needs a little love but should be a decent bike for the lady to ride around as is.

I will post in the BUILDS thread once I get going on the Cranbrook more so I can show the progress!

Congrats on the finds, $20 for a Cranbrook in that condition is very reasonable. Can't beat the price of the women's mountain bike.
